Executive Chef - Contract Catering - Leicester

FHG are working with a national contract caterer to recruit an Executive Chef for a fantastic education site in the heart of the city. 

The site boasts several catering operations including a grab n go cafe, an a la carte staff dining restaurant a multi outlet food village catering for up to 1000 covers daily and extensive hospitality to very high standards.

The Executive Chef will be fully responsible for catering operations across the vast site overseeing a team of 15, responsible for all menu development, achieving financial targets and driving the operation forward.

We are keen to hear from experienced Head or Executive Chefs with an strong understanding of multi outlet high volume operations. 

Executive Chefs should be natural leaders with strong communication and organisation skills as well as the ability to motivate their teams and lead by example. 

Executive Chef Salary: £45k

Hours: 5 days from 7

Head Chef - Busy Bar and Grill Restaurant - Chester

FHG are working with a national restaurant group to recruit a Head Chef for a fantastic busy restaurant in the heart of Chester.

The restaurant is housed in a stunning building offering a contemporary grill menu focussing on fantastic cuts of meat and fish. 

The site has several events spaces and can offer a variety of menus to accommodate special occasions. 

The Head Chef will assume full day to day running of the kitchen overseeing a large team and ensuring quality standards are always met.

Key Responsibilities will include:

 - Staff recruitment and training

 - Running busy service

 - Maintaining all Health and Safety standards

 - Achieving financial targets

 - Ensuring all standards and specs are met

We are looking for a Head Chef with a strong background in high volume fresh food kitchens with the ability to inspire and enthuse their team. 

Head Chef Package - £61k

Head Chef - Contract Catering - Canary Wharf

FHG are working with a boutique contract caterer to recruit a Head Chef for their flagship site in Canary Wharf.

 - Large staff restaurant catering for up to 500 covers daily

 - Full hospitality offer from working lunches to plated fine dining

 - Overseeing a kitchen team of 6

 - Full responsibility for the day to day running of the site

 - Full menu autonomy

 - Financial accountability

 - Staff training and recruitment

We are interested to hear from experienced Head Chef's or Sous Chefs ready for the next step in their careers.

Head Chefs should have a strong background in high volume quality fresh food environments

 - Strong communicators and organisers

 - Lead by example

 - up to date on current food trends

Head Chef Salary: £38k

Core Hours: M-F, 7am - 4pm

Assistant Restaurant Manager-Michelin Starred Exec Chef-North Yorks

FHG are working with a fantastic 5 star Relais and Chateaux property on the edge of the stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park to recruit an Assistant Restaurant Manager for their fine dining restaurant due to open in the spring of this year. The property has been recently refurbished and the restaurant will be under the guidance of a reputed Michelin Starred Executive Chef with the aim of achieving a star themselves. 

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work very closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure standards are consistently met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting and greeting customers, organising table reservations.

  • Leading, managing and inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer service.

  • Overseeing rotas/staffing levels.

  • Training and developing all staff using company procedures.

  • Responding to customer queries and complaints.

  • Undertaking monthly stock takes and overseeing the ordering of stock.

  • Responsible for H&S, FSA requirements, Allergy Laws and Hygiene ratings.

Assistant Restaurant Managers should have experience in similar high quality establishments and have a passion for all things food and beverage. Strong communication, presentation and organisation skills are essential to this role as well as being a team player.

Assistant Restaurant Manager Salary: £32k + tronc

Chef de Partie - Contract Catering - Canary Wharf

FHG are working with a national contract caterer to recruit a Chef de Partie for their flagship site in Canary Wharf.
The site boasts a comprehensive retail offer catering for up to 400 covers daily and a hospitality offer comprised of working lunches, canapes, buffets and fine dining. 

The Chef de Partie will work across all stations to deliver exceptionally high food standards.

Chef de Partie Salary: £26k
